This pretty little angelfish extends over a wide area of the tropical shallow waters from East Africa to the Philippines and beyond. Its beauty is not as immediately striking as that of Centropyge fisheri, but it is nevertheless attractive. Both the Coral Beauty and the Purple Fireball will peacefully co-exist in the same sea aquarium provided that adequate territory is provided for each of them.
